+ "Water for the World"

Here's a simple solution by a great organized effort to help the poorest of the poor. Countries and communities that need pure drinking water just to exist. This solution reminds me of the cool things Victor Papanek was doing in the 70's to help the world in his book "Design for the Real World" that influenced my thinking and values as a young designer, that have now come full circle.

"The goal of Pure Water for the World, Inc. is to prevent children from dying and suffering from contaminated water that causes pain and misery associated with intestinal parasites and illness. We do this by providing sustainable clean, safe drinking water systems to families and communities in developing countries."
